The 18V MultiVolt 5" Paddle Switch Angle Grinder offers exceptional performance and safety. It delivers corded power with the flexibility to be powered by a MultiVolt battery. The robust brushless motor delivers a no load speed of 8,000 RPM, which allows you to take on a wide variety of tasks. The brushless motor is ultra efficient, extending product life and eliminating maintenance of armatures or carbon brushes. Auto-mode option automatically adjusts the RPM down when the tool is not under load, resulting in a decrease in noise and vibration, while also sparing the life of the battery for optimum performance. Provided safety features are a no-lock paddle switch, brake, kickback protection, zero voltage restart and soft start. A tool less wheel guard and 3 position side handle provide the user increased operational efficiency. An anti-vibration side handle is included for user comfort. A removable dust filter offers additional protection for the motor against dust and debris and ensuring that the tool is operating effectively.
